FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Sept. 12, 2017

ACG Systems (ACG) is actively supporting Alaska Airlines with system upgrades following the 2016 acquisition of Virgin America Airlines. The initial stage of consolidation will include air/ground radio systems upgrades adhering to Alaska Airlines’ standards and their unwavering commitment to reliability and technology. The systems will include advanced digital IP capable base radios at sites served by both carriers. The technology, coupled with ACG System’s continuous support, will enable Alaska Airlines to seamlessly merge more operations in the near future.

“As Alaska Airlines continually expands its network reach and global expansion, our team is equipped to handle complex upgrades and system updates,” said Bob Dick, President of ACG Systems. “These initiatives can be incredibly complex and our systems enable Alaska Airlines to complete the merger without compromising safety and service.”
